We’re seeking a motivated and curious Junior Gen AI Engineer to join our AI innovation team based in the Dallas Metroplex. You’ll work on cutting-edge generative AI projects using the IBM Watsonx suite, including watsonx.ai, watsonx.data, watsonx.governance, and Watsonx Assistant. This is a unique opportunity to break into the world of enterprise AI with support and training from Data Ninjas, a premier AI and data solutions company.
What You’ll Do

Build and integrate generative AI models using the IBM Watsonx stack.

Support the development of AI assistants and automation agents for business use cases.

Collaborate with senior engineers and architects on AI-powered workflow solutions.

Learn fine-tuning of foundation models and apply responsible AI practices.

Assist in prompt engineering, model evaluation, and data pipeline integration.
What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

0–2 years of experience in AI/ML or software development.

Basic programming experience in Python and working with APIs.

Interest in generative AI, LLMs, and natural language technologies.

Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow.
